mentre gli alberi fuori bruciano
alberi fatti di braccia tese verso di te
alberi fatti di canti di fiumi di animali di spirali
dentro a una pietra
alberi dove le cornacchie ci chiamano con le loro voci
luccicanti
alberi che ci osservano mentre il fumo sale intorno a loro
alberi accecati che pregano per noi mentre li lasciamo
ai loro nemici
alberi morenti che trattengono i nomi dei dimenticati
